The “Sleeping Giant” is being noted in so many business magazines, by many business experts because of what it gained from the black continent. China is the newest talk of the town, not only that it gets juice from the world's second largest continent, also, it brings aid to the region's dying situation. But it is not just China that is helping Africa. Investing in the continent is infamous in the whole globe. From every continent, numerous countries have sighted the potential of Africa, pulling them to invest on different sectors like agriculture, infrastructure (which was dominated by China), telecommunications, education, mining and oil industry etc..

India and UAE are currently on partnership with some African countries, working on the development of the telecommunications industry. India's Essar Group has some eye on the African telecom business. The India based has had talks with UAE's Dhabi Group, an investment firm led by an Abu Dhabi Royal family. The two sides signed a preliminary agreement in Abu Dhabi on Sunday. Standard Chartered Bank is acting as financial advisor to the Dhabi Group. Their prospect country is Uganda and the rest of West Africa. Since Africa is considered as one of the least penetrated by telecom markets, a lot of investments are coming because there is a potential growth.

Japan is also doing business with Africa. Just last year, the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) was held in Yokohama, Japan. The conference tackled the issues of ending poverty in Africa. The outcome of the conference will be fed into the later summit's deliberations - which highlight "development and Africa" as one of the principal themes.

Russia is also reviving its affair with the region. Moscow can no longer miss its love affair with several African countries, way back in 1960's. And so, they start investing again on minerals of the region. According to rough estimates, the investments of four companies alone - Rusal, Nornikel, Alrosa and Renova - in Sub-Saharan Africa constitute about $5bn. Others are also active, including metal group Evraz, oil giant Lukoil and a number of banks. he Russian firms that are particularly active in Africa are those involved in exploration and production of mineral resources - known as "upstream" companies. However, they face tough and constantly-growing competition.

Germany is another European investment in Africa. German companies is actually one of those big providers of jobs for people. Their investment concentrates more on the oil and agriculture industry.

Jordan, Yemen and Lebanon are other three countries that have investments in Africa. They have been working on the development on the water resource of the region, with investments almost counting to $1.5 billion just within three years.

Canada has also closed US$212 million investment fund for Africa. The Fund focuses on making mid-market private equity investments across Africa in transactions ranging from buyouts to expansion and high growth capital opportunities across a range of sectors.

Africa and the Industry of Information and Communication Technology

By providing an intense effort in improving life, by pondering the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry, Africa sees a brighter future. The quest for organizational development is handy because of this innovative industry. The potential of ICT as a tool for social and economical development shows in the first and second world countries. The adoption and its entire use eases the fight for development in areas like health, education, governance and others.

Africa now has the world's fastest growing industry. Their efforts are paying off. More African nations are embracing ICT to make their developmental programs more attainable. The government of most African countries created a market liberalization and regulatory form to attract more investment in the ICT sector. Since the region is making a scene in this industry, opportunities for growth in the Information and Communication Technology is also fruitful. The liberalization of the sector creates vast opportunities for aspiring investments. The demand is high and getting higher each year. This can only be fed through further investments, international or local.

Mobile phone penetration rates are blooming widespread the region. Delta Partners, a leading management advisory and investment firm, said that mobile broadband in Africa is an industry about to explode and will grow exponentially on the next two years.

The progress started a couple of years back. Since 2000, the initial population of mobile subscribers, which is 335.4 million grew to 73 million in 2003 alone. They have also constructed underseas cables. Mobile operators are very eager to develop 3G networks to enhance the availability of high speed networks. Broadband is very evident as the driving force on the growth for mobile operators and as the mechanism towards creating the stickiness factor especially in identifying value customers. Business experts are sure that by the end of this decade, that growth will grow even more because of the perpetual neediness for innovations on telecommunications and internet access.

The Kenyan government paid U$9.5 million to to Alcatel-Lucent to enable the firm order initial materials.

South Africa leads undersea cable initiative while Nepad leads the initiative in EASSy. All types of businesses will need a more intense and effective business modeling to keep up with the heat of the battle. Doing business in Sub-Saharan Africa will become harder to bear because of the rise of more foreign investments.

Competition in Africa's business sector is expected to become tighter. This is all because of the growing number of investors being invited by the region's overall growth. Countries with large economies were the premiere investors in Africa. One of them is China which focuses on oil, mining and infrastructure business. But as always the first one to come is the one who gets much of the advantage. This is why Chinese investors are making the most of the moment while everything is still fresh and hot. China is one of Africa's best business partner right now. With their wide spread investments, the continent is helped out to cater the needs of Africans. United States is also one of the primary investor in Africa. These two countries are perceived as two banging stones in African business and in the global economy.

But as experts said, no business in Africa will be cornered or get left sagging in their respective industries. Africa has a very competitive natural resources, enough to sustain the life of any African business. Plus, the large population of the continent is a great prospect to become consumers. The consuming behavior of most people are also improving. More people are introduced to innovations. Slowly but surely, Africans are embracing them to make their daily living better. A tighter competition can only be a disadvantage for businessmen if they don't know how to abide it.

On a brighter side, competition in Africa's business environment will spur growth on the continent's different sectors. It will stimulate progress through innovation and greater productivity. More production means more supply. Like in food business, if there are more ventures on food production, people will never run out of sources. Lesser rate will suffer from hunger. ICT is also one of the most improved sector. Majority of the population of the whole continent is seeking for something that will make their life more convenient. Anywhere you look at, you will find someone asking for a change. What Africa needs is more investments on their ICT, agriculture, education, health services, infrastructure, etc.. You can be the one that they are looking for.

Competition just needs to be fair and everything else will end up positive. Africa's improvement is felt throughout the region. And proofs to this statements shows on the stats and facts released by different credible organization like World Bank, IMF, United Nations and other international organization in connection to Africa. They have seen growth on different sectors like government, business, investment, finance, economy, education, information technology, agriculture and quality of living and health. Though the region is still way far from full achievement, more growth is expected prior to what is happening to them right now.

Government

Each decades, from 1960's to 2008, the number of coups declined. This is why more and more investment are coming to Africa. During the global financial crisis, the continent stood out. Their progress is seen as the continent's new trademark, not poverty, not HIV. Once a neglected continent, Africa is now the newest attraction for businesses. This overall progress in Africa is felt throughout the region and witnessed across the globe.

The overall development of the whole continent of Africa is seen on different areas that were badly assessed before. They used to be determinants of the region's poverty, but now, they are indicators of Africa's improvement. Even though there are still countries who are stagnant on their economic and political conditions, generally, the continent has experienced considerable progress in recent years.

Statistics show that the percentage of people in Africa living under $2 per day was has been reduced. Although it only declined by a smaller percentage, it is already achievement going back to what they are in a number of decades. Africa has made an comeback in their economy after the economic breakdown in 80's and 90's. Poverty reduction and economic growth started since then. They started a war against their negative image by changing their perceptions in development. Between 1999 and 2005, number of Africans living in poverty dropped by 7% from 58% to 51%. this progress is faster than what happened to the some countries in Asia. Majority of the African countries averaged more than 5% annual GDP growth for the past years. These countries have published fiscal balances into surplus, bolstered reserves, and kept inflation rates in the single digits.

This success is associated with the strong local leadership and supportive international partnership. Also, contributor to this success is the improvement on business policies and opening up of the entire (almost) region to foreign trades. There are now more access to health, education and clean water in Africa. There is also a potential improvement on the infrastructure, telecommunications and agriculture.

The Sub-Saharan Africa is doing progressive actions slowly but surely, one step at a time. Because of these actions ,growth rained throughout the continent. Different sectors automatically went with the flow. Here are some stats about the growth on of Africa's little problems that can become important factors in the continent's more intense battle for development.

    *

      Africa’s under-5 child mortality rates declined from 229 per 1,000 births in 1970 to 146 in 2007.
    *

Measles deaths dropped by 90% in just six years, from roughly 396,000 per year in 2000 to 36,000 per year in 2006.
    *

AIDS treatment has expanded from reaching roughly 10,000 people in 2001 to more than 2 million in 2008.
    *

Primary school net enrollments jumped from 53% to 70% between 1991 and 2006.
    *

Adult literacy increased from approximately 27% in 1970 to 62% in 2007.

These are just introductory facts and stats about Africa's overall development. There's still a lot more to come.

Author Recommends Future Africa for business service providers

The Right Time To Invest In Africa

Before, the the right time for investment in Africa was way far too long. As what they have witnessed from other businesses, growth is strongly prevailing. Africa has now escaped their negative image because of their successful organizational development. The present status of the continent seems proudly shouting “The right time to invest in Africa is now”.

Right, the time is now. While the whole world is struggling because of the global economic crisis, Africa posted a remarkable growth in their economy. For the past decades, the Black continent is transforming into a flaring torch that will bring and burn all business struggles altogether. It is raining opportunities. Businessmen and Africans are fetching them.

Generally, the continent improved on different areas of each country. Several countries like Uganda, Tanzania and Nigeria had a tremendous growth on their GDP. These three countries grew by 8%. Over all, sub-Saharan Africa grew by 6.3% for the year 2009. Mauritius and Rwanda are also among the world's safest places to do business for 2009.

Researches stated that the over all development of Africa on business policies and good governance indicates they are now ready for global business. These growths also opened up improvements on different sectors/areas like infrastructure, IT outsourcing, telecommunications, manufacturing, agricultural reforms, trade industry, banking and finance, education and health. Smaller types of businesses are also gaining profits because of the opportunities loosen up by these progress.

Africans are now more active when it comes to business. They are now able to work and find a living for their family through the jobs brought by investors. More and more Africans are sent to school. Diseases like HIV and malaria are also addressed. Poverty is reduced and clean waters are provided to residents. Local areas are now more open for businesses and foreign products. Africa is slowly slipping away from its roots.

Now is the time to invest in Africa. Investors should take advantage of many factors that is making Africa a business-friendly continent. There is a stability in Africa. With countries surmounting their debts, expect that it will continue on the coming years. Opportunities will provide this stability. Once they get used of doing business in Africa, everything else will be as easy as the alphabet.

New policies in Africa is also favorable for any type of businesses, coming from any parts of the world. These policies are not jut for foreign investors. It has actually boosted local economies.

Investors shouldn't let these opportunities pass them. There is a huge selection of areas to invest their profit. Construction companies, call centers, IT, agriculture, infrastructure and media are among those choices. Africa is a very promising land. The potential is appealing. Opportunities are outstanding. There's nothing to wait for. The right time to invest is now.

The Telecommunications Sector in Africa

The telecommunication sector is another area for your investment in Africa. The rise of business potentials and more foreign investments sparked the telecom revolution. Since more African countries have undergone liberalization and privatization, telecommunication infrastructures have improved drastically. Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Sudan, South Africa and Kenya are the those countries to name a few. Many African governments privatizes their former state-owned enterprises to give way to the growth of the said sector.

As of now, South Africa is the main point of telecommunication in the whole African continent. Although the country has been making an accelerated move into the region, the area is still too big. There is a wide range of people in need of communication links, and the need for better communication system keeps on increasing. To create more progress, Africa needs to connect to the whole world. And for upcoming investments, communication is essential to make business success possible.

According to International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Africa only has two telephone lines per 100 people. A very poor data compared to Europe's four for every 10 people. They also said that growth in Africa's telecommunication sector is yet to be experienced. But after five years, the sector is steadily growing. The region showed a considerable development specifically in mobile communications.

While fixed line telecommunication systems are developing at a rather stagnant pace, the development of wireless and mobile communication technologies and the heavy investments made in the telecommunications market have tremendously improved the growth of the sector. In 2004, only 6 percent of the total number of Africans own a cellphone, but now there are a lot of them. There are now more than 82 million mobile users in Africa: Nigeria's mobile market is growing at over 100% per year. Mobile telephony has a positive and significant impact on economic growth, and this impact may be twice as large in developing countries as in developed countries.

The government was able to address the problems why telecommunication service was then poor. Before the development, low penetrations are caused by: 1. lack of investment, 2. investment inefficiencies, 3.) inadequate private sector involvement, 4. foreign exchange scarcity, 5. poor management incentives and 6. insufficient regional development. But all of these are defunct now. More investments are entering the region, thus, creating more growth in different sectors including the telecommunications.

Africans are not just the group beneficial of this growth, business firms are also absorbing something from it. Communication is a vital factor for one's growth in business. It connects people and business. This is why telecommunication sector is another opportunity for people who have an interest of investing in Africa.

With the technology being introduced to the continent, a potential huge market is born. In no time, people will embrace these innovations. Instead of a luxury, it will become one of the primary needs, just like what happened to other countries. The demand for better communication will grow and everything else will follow.

Author Recommends Future Africa for Organizational development

Improvement in Africa's Financial Market

Since the day that leadership development took place in Africa, a lot of improvement happened. Different areas in most African countries has shown such progress that are useful not only to their respective countries but also to other nations. One of these days, Africa will become one of the world's leading business place, all because of their breakage into awareness on opportunities inside their region.

Growth in Africa has taken off. According to the IMF or International Monetary Fund, several countries from Africa with developing financial markets that attracts more institutional financial investor are perceived as promising candidates to become part of the second generation of emerging market countries. African countries can now invite more investors to their financial markets because it is easier now to do business deals with them.

Africa's financial market is one of the areas where positive changes were seen. Financial landscape has changed with the growth of stock and bond markets as well as the private equity market. In 1990 there was only 5 stock markets in Africa, but now there are 18. The efforts by the African governments to lessen the political risks, improve institutions and implement more open trade and sound economic policies stimulates the development on banking sector, stock market, private equity market, and bond market.

Financial markets in Africa are opening up because of private sectors. More and more foreign investments are urged to expand their horizons, up to the lands of Africa. The determinants of financial market development in Africa the political risks, policy making, creditor rights protection, income level and financial repression. And the continent has slowly but surely surpassed all of these. A sign that Africa's financial market is transitioning from a complex financial system to a more understandable one.

Before, institutional investors access emerging economies mainly through equity markets or in some cases, foreign currency debt issues. But now, investors are immersed in a wide range of financial activities that includes domestic bond and foreign exchange market instruments.

In the last few decades, most African countries have undergone intense transformation on their financial systems. And efforts are well paid-off today. Traditionally, most African countries are very dependent on the banking system. But since the outbreak of global financial crisis, capital markets played a very prominent role.

Banking system in Africa are now providers of financial needs for any African business. Before they are used to create aids, now they are largely used for trades. The development in Africa's financial market boosts the possibility for more investments. Financial technology has been transferred to the African emerging markets to create more improvement on their system.

Being included in IMF's list of emerging markets is a great recognition. This selection has something to do with the degree of the economical development of the country. Africa has now become an image of opportunities and growth.

Author Recommends Future Africa business service providers, contact us today

The Secret of Successful Businesses in Africa

The success of an African business is possible through effective business modeling and business strategic planning. With all the greatest challenges ahead, you need to have the most appropriate responses. Investing in Africa is a very mindful task, to become successful you must come up with the best ideas of how you can overcome them without so much delay.

But there is a secret in achieving success in an African business. One thing that will sum up all your plans and hardships. That is being ready for changes. Changes in business environment is somewhat dangerous. You'll never know what is waiting for you. Almost everyday, there are changes happening around the continent. Sub-Saharan Africa works as a continent, no country is working for progress single-handedly. This is why changes is massive. The incapability of the African government to do intelligent business policies is also a factor. The future of any business depends on these changes. So if you want to become successful with your African business, always be ready for changes and respond to it professionally and effectively.

One of the challenges in an African business is uncertainty. This is a challenge whose ending is unknown. The lack of skills to adapt to changes is what will push a business to failures. Uncertainties in power, acceptance, production and financing are things an investor must overcome.

It is inarguable that there is a vast opportunity waiting for those who are interested in investing in Africa. But the question is, are they aware of the risks? How are they going to use their marketing strategy in the midst of corruption, financial shortage and non-civilized people. These are the areas that fluctuates up to now, even though the region has shown remarkable changes on their economy and community.

The power that the African government has can threaten business firms. Changes in government policy may ruin your business plan. And this, you need to address quickly before everything that you have worked for fades.

The acceptance of the people on foreign trades must be closely monitored. When something sounds unfamiliar to them, chances are they won't embrace it. Africans easily change their minds. A foreign business might also sound colonization to them. You have to assure your market that you are not there to abuse their natural resources.

The global financial crisis makes the African economy's future unpredictable. Maybe today, the African stock market is soaring but on the next day, weeks or months, be prepared because the African stock market might sink.

Changes on Africa's business environment is the greatest challenge that an investor will face. Everyday that you wake up is another day. If you can emulate with these changes, then you should know that you belong to Africa. Successful business people are those who can keep up and endure the changes.

What is Africa On the Next Decades

Africa's future is described far from what their past have posted. This is due to their effective leadership development. What's ahead of Africa is more predictable than ever. Throughout the whole continent, the ultimate goal is progress. This is done by improving a lot of different areas. Well, there are a lot, but Africans take them one at a time. Their perseverance and dedication will lift them from their present condition. It will define what kind of future they are ahead of.

Since the global financial crisis, Africa paved its way way to the global economy competition. South Africa was among the world's top economies. Other African countries are mentioned on different awards, like Rwanda, Mauritius and Egypt. Awards that states each countries progress on their own economies. The future of the African continent is said to be one of the brightest among all the nations.

The political changes and growth among African countries is one of the areas that should be given a recognition. For the past three decades, their government has been an awkward definition of the word governance. Apathy and immorality has been the anthem of those in the position. But now, with the transition from a “mis-governance” to an organized region, a lot of opportunities were brought out. Business and economy expanded, while local people found jobs to support their family. Africa is slowly reducing poverty and scarcity. Because of foreign trades and investments, more Africans now have an access to clean water and sanitation. Thus, more little African families are seeing a healthier lifestyle.

Sub-Saharan Africa used to be a dependent of the aids coming from richer countries but now, they are focusing on trades. People now has the courage to stand on their own by creating income for themselves. Education is now one of their priorities with more women being sent to school.

Agricultural and infrastructure sector in Africa will continue to show development. Telecommunication and technologies will be introduced to its people for further advancement of life.

The image of Africa on the next decades will be like a diverse and modified continent. Since opportunities are overflowing, lots of innovations will be introduce. It will be more open for businesses. Any transactions will become as easy as doing transaction in other countries. Threats from tribal wars will be lessened or gone. Modern communication networks will be a massive trend. Because of their growth, migration will stem.

All that Africa needs to do is to be always optimistic and burn out all their negative thoughts. Be open of others' business suggestions and boost their level of acceptance. They also need to maintain the change they have made on their governance. Everyone in the world is seeing the continent as a potential global economy competitor, a home of unexplored resources. Their future is defined on the hands of its people and with the help of other countries. If there will be unity among them, then the whole world will be more prosperous.

Author Recommends Future Africa organizational development, contact us today

Investing in Africa: A Challenge or an Opportunity

Any investment in Africa is compelled to undergo an excellent and endless studies to determine if the idea is heading challenges or opportunities. There are many things that should be decided wisely because there are many things hidden behind the Black Continent. Challenges are obvious, countries' lack of entrepreneurial skills block their way to success. But if you'll try to figure it out, you might even see that this lacking is opening up opportunities.

Sub-Saharan Africa has a very high potential, economically speaking. The continent is a home of the world's best natural and agricultural resources. Several minerals are also found inside the region. It has some mines of diamond, gold and oil. Agricultural products like cocoa and other vegetables are also admired by some foreign countries. Africa's tourism industry can also give any wonders of the world a very nice fight. There are many opportunities in Africa, investors are just blinded by inevitable challenges and risks inside the region.

African government is one of the challenges that every ventures will face. This may also be the reason why the continent is the home of some of the world's uncivilized places. Developmental actions are blocked by the state and disgovernance is freely playing everywhere. To do business is really daring if everyone is secretly working dirty deeds against you. Plus, if Africans are not open for changes, then everything else would be a very long road to chase.

But if you'll try to view these challenges in a different angle, you may find out that they are not merely challenges. Instead, they are secret doors or pathways to opportunities.

Africa's poverty and uncultivated condition creates more prospective sectors and fields to enhance. One of the greatest challenge that you need to work for is people's acceptance of new knowledge and progressive approach when it comes to business.

Any business type should be assured that even Africans are looking for progress. This is attainable only if someone will introduce them to innovative methods. That they should not be scared of technology because it will help them. This someone must explain to people what their country is capable of. A capability that will benefit them, their government and the whole continent. This is the challenge that is surmountable if and only you will give your full dedication. Development is attainable through the efforts of the people and the investor. Once this challenges are overdone, then the lucrative image of Africa will come out, beneficial to the investor and of course, to the African people.

To become successful and soar with the economy, addressing the challenges should start inside Africa, not in Europe, America or Asia. People may loose their morality thinking that they are hopeless. This is the perfect time for any business enthusiast to sneak in. Just always remember that your first goal is to help , not to abuse their wealth. Because if you do, then you better forget where you came from.

Reducing Poverty in Africa

Progress accounts of Africa's development are making a scene. Little by little, they are reducing poverty through organizational development. They are improving in different sectors one at a time. These changes are reversing the region's poor economic performance. Once a forgotten continent, now, Africa is the center of attraction. Countries were astound with the firmness they showed against the appalling strike of the global financial crisis.

Poverty is a like a worldly dirt that Africa needs to clean. But the improvement they have made is really tremendous. This is brought by the support for the fight by different trade companies and sectors. Profit is not the only benefit that business men get by doing business in Africa, they were also able to contribute in poverty reduction.

Africans have waken up them selves from a long sleep. They started moving and improved their policies on investments and business. Transactions concerning business is a lot easier now compared to the old Africa. Thus, it produced more trades, job opportunities and increased wages, which are undeniably what African needs. Chances for a good living are now spared to poor Africans instead of dealing “exclusively” with corrupt government officials. Foreign investors benefits from Africa they way the African region benefits from them. The relationship is mutual. With the continuous improvement on investing and business climate, Africa and any African investment aspirants are ahead of a brighter future.

This progress is just a start. What happened are just baby steps from a giant island eying global competitiveness. The African government is still looking for tactics to completely eradicate poverty.

By this time, Africa is so much open for any investment ideas from inside or outside the continent. By creating more trades, they are also creating job opportunities for their people. The continent as a whole is composed of a big labor force. Africans would be very instrumental in any type of businesses if they are sent to trainings and seminars. If more investment come to Africa, there are greater chances that Africans can pull their families out of poverty. And more than that, traders and investors will gain more from their investments.

Education is another present focus of the African government. They believe that by educating people, they can step out of poverty. The government was urged to invest more on African women's education. This will defy tribal and traditional beliefs. This will drive women away from destitution because they will be educated. In the future, they will be very essential in the maintenance and growth of the continent.

Agriculture is another key to rapid rural and urban development. Individual owned agriculture business can provide source of food to Africans. It is also a juicy fruit to improve country's national health. The Africans' health condition is dreadful. Most of its people are malnourished. The government is funding the agricultural sector to address the problem in poverty and health.

Author Recommends Future Africa organizational development, contact us today

Top African Countries Where You Can Do Business

Most African business venture are now in the process of business transformation. Some failed, and some are still striving. Generally speaking, African region has evolved from a risky business place to a very profitable one. Most African countries are hailed as more competitive nations in the entire globe. Investment in Africa was foreseen as the most alluring trend in every foreign economy.

African countries showed tremendous improvement throughout the years. They gained in their economy even with the presence of the financial global crisis. They never got intimidated, instead, they worked harder to obtain improvement and distinction when it comes to global economy. This transition happened because of the change in governance, business policies and by creating more trades than aids. But same thing goes, doing business is also providing help for Africans.

Mauritius was recently awarded as the easiest place to do business and trade, and the top regional performer in the whole African region. From a total of 181 countries, they are 24th according to the Doing Business Rankings. The country is among the top ten around the world when it comes to the tourism industry, posing rapid growth every year, says World Travel and Tourism Council. One possible factor is the opening of opportunities for foreign investors to get good deals when it comes to businesses in tourism. The climate of the country is another reason for this growth. The density of rain every year increased while the winter temperature stay around 22c to 31c.

Nigeria and Ethiopia weire also specified as the most potential countries for investing, an index released by African Rainbow Consulting. Nigeria showed significant improvement in access to water, electricity and ITC infrastructure. Ethiopia comes second, showing also development on mentioned sectors. Indexing was conducted by considering each countries performance in energy and water supply, ITC, social capital and governance.

Other countries where every business is possible is South Africa, the region's number 1 country. Egypt, Morocco, Mauritius, Nigeria, Algeria, Tunisia, Ghana, Seychelles and Namibia complete the list of top ten African countries who have brighter future. Africa known as the Dark Continent is continuously shining, enlightening the world who's on its darkest point.

Author Recommends Future Africa consulting change management, contact us today

Tips for African Market Aspirants

To do business in Africa is a very challenging journey to take. It maybe very profitable, but anything goes if you don't perform proper business management. From the start to the middle, everything else should be given enough attention to avoid any flaws. I'm not saying that doing business in Africa is perfect, but I just think that compared to some other regions, there is a bigger room and wider opportunities that can be found in the black continent. But of course, they are achievable if and only you are armed with all the necessary information as to how you can make your venture in Africa victorious.

If you prefer Africa as a whole, that is a hell of a job. With more than 50 countries, you might need intense preparation. But to simplify your task, you may contact a trade partner. Just make sure that you are dealing with a notable and credible business partner (Chamber of Commerce or Embassies). Get the service of a partner who is an expert in marketing and promotions. You can help each other to reach a wider range of customers.

Since sub-Saharan Africa was colonized by so many nations, take time to research about the social behavior and lifestyle of Africans. Knowing this will make every transactions and meetings more comprehensive. Their attitudes may vary depending on who conquered them.

Generally, Africans can't speak pure English, and so, it would be better if you will know how to understand the way they speak. I'm not telling you to speak their language, just try to know what they really mean.

Well just like any country, there will be practices that will violate morality. You should know that most African countries' government are corrupt. Although it has been transforming, be assured that you'll meet some people, Africans or not, who will ask for bribes. When times like this come, you must know what to do. Any favors done for you, must be paid in another form of deed.

Study about Africa. It is not just an overnight job. There is a lot more about Africa, things that you don't learn that easy. From time to time, you will meet challenges that you're not prepared about. Just make sure that you can provide them with appropriate solutions to avoid profit loss.

Carefully choose what kind of business you are going to establish. Make sure that it is something that can make African life lighter, not something that they've seen or experienced before. Present the benefits that people can get from your investment because it is what they want from any business. Know their culture and their consuming preferences.

Hire an expert consultant, most especially the person who is expert about Africa. They can help you in solving conflicts and challenges that will occur during your business campaign.

Spare a lot of patience and be open minded. Doing business in Africa is very different in doing business in other countries. Always expect the unexpected.

Author Recommends Future Africa business modeling, contact us today

Boosting Trades in Africa

The potential of Africa to become an exporter is really high. They only need their resources to be given attention to open doors for abundant production. Before, they do not know what they are capable of. But now, chances for growth are great because of their awareness of their potentials.

According to African Rice Center, Africa's rice production increased by 18 percent in 2008. A prediction was also made that the region can be the main exporter of rice if there will have more land under cultivation. The increase is a result of the support provided by the African government to farmers during the global financial crisis since 2007. Senegal is now the 8th world's largest rice producing country. This is just a proof that Africa is globally competitive. That they have something to say when it comes to trading industry.

Countries like U.S., France, and China are boosting their trade relationship with the Sub Saharan Africa. They noticed what Africa can offer them.

Since year 2000, there have been programs to boost the trading finance of the African region. African countries has started changing the way they do trade. Instead of landing to the former colonial leaders, they do it now by themselves, in partnership with some foreign investors. Before there were problems when it comes to the cost of exporting from Africa, corrupt officials tend to put higher prices on products leaving and entering their borders. But it is resolved now, every year, there is a greedy official being kicked out of his seat. This is just the introductory part of Africa's Economic Revolution.

One step that African countries should take to get more trading opportunities is to diversify their products. They have a great source of products but it still needs expansion. More than agricultural products, or petroleum and diamonds, there are opportunities in machinery, medicines, iron and steel and equipments. This will provide open doors for exterior and interior businesses.

Eliminating of tariffs also shows that Africa is really committed in trade industry. Though it's impossible to make all trades free, thanks because tariffs on goods was reduced to the lowest that it can be. Higher trade taxes on the region compared to other continents is one of the factors why investors get discouraged to start a trade among African countries.

On products where Africa has a clear advantage to produce and export, tariffs were also melted down. Since investing in Africa is somewhat strange, it will require expert business management consulting because of the risks and possible obstacles that investment ideas will encounter. But the risk is not as much as the endowment that you will receive when you invest in Africa. Its agriculture and natural resources are very rich. As compared to other continents, there are more opportunities in the Black continent, it's just that, their resources are untouched and unexplored.

Agriculture is a type of job where you can easily invite Africans to come in. Statistics say that 56.6 of the African labor force are working in agriculture. Since civilization and other technologies are not that popular in the region, African families choose to invest in farming, cropping and other agricultural activities. They build their own livestock to have something to eat. They plant seeds on their backyards, they raise domestic animals like chicken, goat and cow. Seventy to eighty percent of their population turn to agriculture for their survival. Africans become resilient to tragedies because of their self-provided food sources.

And now, here's the irony, despite the fact that most people rely to agriculture, creating a strong labor force, Africa still fails to feed their whole population. This is maybe, just maybe, because of the poor knowledge that the people have in agriculture. Most of this livestock circulates only on their own homes. The management is all about consuming. Another thing is that disaster are prevalent in the region. As a result, food insecurity occurs among families. What they eat is all about crops, grains and wheat, loosing other essential foods that can nourish their bodies.

This is where you investment ideas can sneak in. Beside the fact that you are doing business, you are also doing a help. You can promote modern form of agriculture that focuses on sustainable consumption. Irrigated agriculture as what they call it. The term is about enhancing food insecurity through artificial methods of agriculture. This is what they call sustainable development. Businesses can introduce their innovative methods in agricultural production. African are more reliable when it comes to agriculture as compared to technologies. To maximize the agricultural sector, there should have more funds to sponsor Africans to gain more knowledge about agriculture. There should have a better access to finance and more support to the development of small and microenterprises. Agricultural opportunities are abundant, the only problem is they are devoid of global trade policies and practices. These opportunities are very much open to anyone, especially countries among the Second and Third World. Once grabbed, there will be more prosperity in the economy of the investor, Africa and the whole world.

Challenges in Doing Business in Africa

Africa is now the newest attraction when it comes to business. They are the most sought-after business place after the potential countries sink due to global recession. Doing business in the dark continent is seen as the best form of gamble that one can ever do. Even though opportunities are waving to everyone, success doesn't always come to you in an instant. There will be big stones that will block your way. There are obstacles that you need to surpass.

One of the challenges that entrepreneurs will face in doing business in Africa is its disgovernance. The major reason why Africa is poor for the rest of their history is that they've got an ineffective bureaucracy, they are poorly managed. Any business practices will take so much courage and effort when dealing with the government. Of course, before you can start a business in another country, you need to comply on their requirements. That would be very time-consuming because of the poor management that they have. Some would even tend to put their selfish interest, corruption as they say. If only politics is balanced, then it would be they key to win economic advantage. However, this problem has been raised to a battle by the Africans, a part of the reason why Africa is on a transformation.

Marketing and communication is another poor feature of an African business. Obviously, possible communication channels are outdated. Therefore, it is hard to get the specific target's attention. Most media channels are controlled by state corporation. Yellow pages are present but they are full of misinformation and inaccuracies. Nevertheless, this problem has been slightly improved, through the help of other private media channels.

The region is also lack of skilled workers. Most of its people lived their life as slaves. But this is something that is very easy to address. Companies entering Africa wants to make sure that their workers are par with the technology that they use, and so, they conduct training and seminars for them.

Day-to-day businesses across the continent is often thwarted by the poor infrastructure. Many of them are struggling because of lack of quality transportation services, logistics, energy and technology. Africa is just on a start improving their infrastructure. It is still good to say that it is another sector that a company can invest his money because of the demands made by other companies.

Tribal wars and conflicts are also stealing scenes from business growth. People who are tied to their customs and tradition couldn't see what this businesses can do for their lives. But if you succeed to persuade them, then there's a lot of additional force for you.

Doing business in Africa isn't dictated by what risks you encounter. A business will be victorious if he can manage the business very well. Proper business management is what an take you to the celebration in the middle of challenges. Africa is a continent you need to work hard for.

Author Recommends Future Africa business modeling, contact us today

Africa: The Arena for Development of Business, To Transform Life

Africa's growth is very exceptional. This is because despite the global financial crisis, it is the region who stood out and showed magnificent development. Since then, Africa became the center of attraction amongst developed countries. They see more development in investing in Africa more than before. But still, there is a high percentage of Africans living with just more than $1 a day. A hole that investors are trying to fill in, and will be the beneficiary of the next growth that will happen to the continent.

Nations are on a battle, but not against each other. They are wrestling against poverty, with business as the solution, and Africa as the Arena. A fight for a cause. A call answered by the whole world.

First world countries are on a quest, not to colonize the region again, but to find room for development of their own and of course, life in Africa.

The situation of the Africans is a major concern. Extreme poverty, corruption and ultimate devastation are problems that brought major business firms to the region. They have with them aids to the disease of the continent. All these aids are for long term that can sustain each Africans for years. These aids are businesses and investments.

Major areas where Africa grew are areas that businesses invested in. Improvements took place in water supply, telecommunication, agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, etc.. Who would resist the chance to ponder more on the business, and at the same time, perform a charity and give help to the people who needs it?

The coming of companies created jobs for Africans. An African news said that since Africa's economic growth, the percentage of Africans living with just $1 a day was lessened by more than 10 percent. This would be a perfect reason to continue flourishing the continent's relationship with developed countries.

On health sectors, African can now drink clean water because of development on water supply. Companies from Asia and America are trying to improve life in Africa by putting more focus on clean water, good food, medicine and clothing.

Corruption was also decreased with companies deciding to hand out all the aids straight to the people instead of giving the to the leaders. People aren't slaves anymore, instead, they were given jobs wherein they will earn enough to support their family.

Africa has now taken few steps away from poverty. If more and more countries won't be blinded by what comes out of the news, then maybe, the region would prosper more. The continent has an enormous number of virgin and untapped resources. Opportunities are found anywhere you look at. The firs phase of this achievement happened because of connection between nations and people. Africa is now involved in global economy, they are not isolated anymore. It is indeed true that you can only find light in the “darker” side of your world.

Author Recommends Future Africa business modeling, contact us today

Global Competitiveness of Africa

Africa has now bloomed from a scary place to a loveable continent for many business enthusiast. All over the world, America, Asia and Europe, the Black Continent got “suitors”. These suitors are pursuing a business career in Africa. They knew that they will gain more devoting to the region. Unexplored resources are abundant in Africa. Business opportunities are overflowing throughout the region. All of these prevailed against the continent's trademark. Most African countries now have a good economic prospect.

The Global Competitiveness of Africa is seen on their growth despite the global financial crisis. Unlike most countries, Africa showed economic growth for the past years. This economic turn-down opened the windows of the region and opened the eyes of the world to make them see what Africa can offer them. More than what the history showed, the Black Continent is a bliss for us while suffering from a crisis.

Global Financial Crisis asked for more demand. On health aspects, business enthusiast bet on this because it is what Africans need.

Africa is now a globally competitive country. There are a lot of things to ask, some of them should be turned to a project management consultant, and some are answered all by yourself. You may gain better profit but the risks as well is high, if not properly thought about. You must answer what type of investment you should deal with, when is the right time, and the last and most important, will you be able to handle it.

First and the most obvious thing to keep in mind before investing is your financial capability. Money, this is the one that will decide if you are a potential investor or not. It would be wrong if you will invest into something big knowing that you cannot support it. You're just digging a hole for yourself. In addition to that, choose the kind of investment that you think you can carry. Small capital can only do small investments. Depending on your management, it'll grow someday into a bigger one. Your present financial situation will dictate the kind of investment that you are capable of. Your personal interest comes only on the second place, unless you can make loans that will expand your capital.

Know what's the purpose of your investment, if you opt to save it for personal or family benefits, everything will be different. But if your investment is to make money, you may consider a money market account. If it is for five years assurance, you can invest on stock markets and mutual funds.

Understand your investment options. If you are a first-time investor, consider investing into mutual funds. This is is composed of multiple individual stocks that commonly offers smaller initial investment costs to be contributed on a monthly basis. When you are beginning to invest, it is a must to know what's the meaning of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate investment trusts, cash value life insurance and annuities. These are investment options that you must take time to research about to know what combination can best suit you to reach your goals.

A financial planner would be a big help for you. Hire a planner who is knowledgeable about investment issues. He/she must know what to do or say on your investment queries. Explain to him/her that goals that you are trying to achieve and get options on how to achieve them.

Next is the time frame. How long will this investment work? How long are you going to hold onto an investment? To answer these questions you should know when is the need for the money. Putting deadlines will determine what kind of investment is right for you. Also, know if you can provide recovery once a loss occur. Nothing is guaranteed in this world, in investment either. So you better make out on what to do once a problem rise. Create and provide an emergency fund for your investment.

You must also know if you are a risk taker or just a steady investor. There are a lot of opportunities in a stock market. There are times that you will indulge yourself into one of them. Your confidence is more likely an asset than being a coward investor.

The Redeem Team of Economical Development in Africa

People are always blinded by the news in media that the continent of Africa is an image of desperation. But this perception was greatly changed throughout the years. The Dark Continent is now a great venue for most businesses all over the world. Instead of looking at the region's helplessness, they look at it as opportunities to start and create a profitable venture. According to the IMF, most African countries gained more on their economy since their independence. And as its effect, different countries like China and Spain are investing to the region and created more profit than what they expect. Now, Africa is building a good business relationship with more investors from different countries to obtain more development.

Africa's overflowing resources is what invites people to start a business inside the country. Huge and untapped resources are driving force of Africa's economic growth. They have opened opportunities for many businesses all across the continent. They are found and scattered to different parts of the country. Resources includes oil and gas in Angola and Libya, mining of gold, diamond and other minerals in West and Central Africa, privatization in South Africa and Nigeria, international trade, infrastructures like pipeline, roads and highways, and telecommunications, and stock exchanges that are now blooming in many countries. Education is also an opportunity to invest. Leisure like beaches, golf, internet and many others are also open for investments.

Recently, ACR or Africa Competitiveness Report released the 2009's top 10 African Economies. This report is made up of assessment from three credible institutions when it comes to African economy information. They are: The World Economic Forum, the African Development Bank and the World Bank. ACR is an invaluable tool for policy-makers, business strategists and other key stake holders. Might as well, African Competitiveness Report 2009 is an essential reading source for those who have an interest of starting a business in the region. If you still think Africa is always fashioning worlds of nothingness, then you're poorly wrong now. Present Africa is now an image of positive energies and possibilities. Out of adversity, opportunities arose and opened up more possible business growth among Africans and foreign investors. According to IMF's Regional Economic Outlook Survey released in 2007, the Black Continent is experiencing a period of sustained growth, the best one in their history. This paints a picture of good political and economical trend, which unfolds a “new Africa” right before our eyes.

Before, aid is the heart of African survival, but now, it is trade. More business firms are entering the region to bring trade and fulfill the needs of people on slum areas. Sub-Saharan Africa is now a business destination for many countries, on top of them are superpowers like U.S. and China.

Africa's greatest challenge is adversity, which they use to see as inextricable. But they found opportunities from it. They've got solution to the continent's condition, created business opportunities and not too long, made their name shine in the global economy. Entrepreneurs invested on water, electricity, infrastructure and communication. This didn't just improve life in the continent, it also created jobs. For every potential business, a lot of lives are changed. Investments done by investors in the country are also helpful aids, come in disguise.

Transformation of the corrupt government to a more responsible one is another key for Africa's success. Before, the government's officials are promoting poverty to gain more aids from other countries, but stupidly unluckily, it all goes to the pockets of those officials. That instead of countries' survival, poor people just become more down-and-out. But now, the power is now on the entrepreneurs. Aids are handed out in the form of trade for different reasons. First, people are assured that what they really deserve will come to them, by working for it legally. Second, Africans are prevented from becoming very much dependent on charities. Instead, they are given chances to stand on their own without any discrimination to barricade their dream. They have the freedom to work and earn for themselves.

Africa is also on a rigorous campaign to stop every civil and tribal wars residing on different parts of the continent. They produce more job opportunities, with the help of entrepreneurs, to deplete conflicts. The deadly HIV AIDS is also given focus, conducting more demonstrations and lectures to Africans about safe sex and the danger of it when performed irresponsibly.

All that the Black Continent needs is to see the world believing in them. Africa's future is now more clearer since the start of their economic growth. Their transformation made an impact worldwide, especially in business and investment. Their potential is great. Investment and business opportunities are overflowing in Africa, grabbing them would be favorable to both business and Africans.

Reasons of Success and Downfall of Business

When you think of business, of course you are thinking of success. When the global financial crisis arise, Africa bloomed into a perfect business venue regardless of the bad image they had. Since 1990's, more African countries improved on their economy, there is a big expansion on their investment and business features. More investors from different parts of the world are coming to the region to start a business. Experts say, this is a good response to battle economic decline. Investing in Africa didn't just open development for private sectors, but it also made way for the continents transition from a chaotic place to a business haven.

Business opportunities in Africa are overflowing. The continent got rich resources that can attract investors. This something that most country, like US, didn't notice before. Most of the time they only come to the region to give aid, but now, to come for trade is becoming a trend.

Mining in Africa is one of the driving force why the continent gain economical development.

Africa is the home of nearly half of the entire world's diamond or 50% of the global production. By this time, Africa has produced over 75%, in value, of the diamonds purchased all over the world, with more or less 1.9 billion carats. Central and Southern Africa are places in Africa where diamond is abundant. Angola, Botswana and South Africa are the top distributor of diamonds.

South Africa produce 50% of all the gold in the world. Despite the declining production, it is inarguable that South Africa is still one of the world's best gold producer. They've got two of the globe's deepest gold mines, the East Red Mine in Boksburg and Tau Tona in Carletonville. The country also have the largest gold ore reserves measuring up to 40,000t, which represents 40% of global reserves.

Both diamonds and golds are the largest mineral foreign income earner in Africa. The continent also produce an array of mineral resources like platinum, coal, granite, nickel, copper, zinc, limestone, phosphates, clay and dolomites.

Another area where growth chances is high is agriculture. Africa has a wide range of agricultural products like coffee, veggies and fruits. South African wines are making a comeback. Algeria is another producer of first-class wines. Along with France, Canada, United Stats, South Korea and Western Europe are countries that benefits well on Algeria's wine industry.

Telecommunications is also one of the fastest growth area. From 1999 to 2004, the annual rate of Africa's cellphone usage grew to 58%. The region showed faster growth compared to the some countries in Asia.

Infrastructure and transportation has also improved. International tourism is given priority. With wonders like the Ancient Egypt, Mediterranean Resorts in North Africa, Victoria Falls, Cape of Good Hope and other natural and wildlife landscapes, the continent has potentials to compete against other continents. Airports and hotels facilities are also developed.

Africa is on the process of transformation than is beneficial to both Africans and business enthusiast.

Africa for Business: A Full Basket Case

Before, most business enthusiast always say that any investment ideas won't take effect in Africa. But somebody said, “It's not where you are, it is what you do.” This is a line coined by Arnold Ekpe, CEO of an African bank called Ecobank. Ecobank is found in Lome, Togo, a country in Africa. The country is described as small, poor and chaotic, just like a typical African country.

Now, since 2006, the Ecobank in Togo has expanded opening 200 branches in the entire continent and planning to set up more banks in three countries. Their annual profits were up by 47%, $191 million in 2007, and 32% just in the third quarter of 2008 with $104 million. It is evident that we are facing a historic crisis. Banking business tycoons all over the world are struggling. But despite this, Togo, and most of the African countries are the best-performing countries, all because of their economic growth. This news is a proof that Africa is more focused on economical development to help their people and invite more business investors.

20th century is the age of transformation for the Dark Continent. From a place which is very dependent on aids from other nations, now, they are perceived as a better business destination. War has depreciated, Democracy is making its way. According to Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, foreign investments continue to overtake foreign aid. In 2006, foreign investment reached $48 billion. Experts say that this is all because of the private sector. IMF puts Africa's average annual growth for 2004 to 2008 at more than 6%, this gain is a lot better than any developed economy. A prediction even concluded that African countries will be able to overcome the global recession.

Africans living in poverty was lessened. There are more works for the people. Percentage of people who earns $1.25 or less a day has declined from 59% to 51%.

Africa now offers the world's highest rate of return on investment. The continent used to be the poorest performing region in the world economy, now, they are outstanding. The transition happened since the last few years. It opened opportunities for businessmen investing in Africa to grow. The continent is now a promising business destination.

Instead of agonizing over Africa's poverty, some superpower countries are bemused by its resources. Like China, they have delegates on different parts of the region for specific type of business. They make money from mining copper in Zambia, cobalt in Congo and tapping oil in Angola. The country of China is seeing their relationship with Africa as a win-win solution for economic crisis.

Investing in Africa is just another form of help. Doing business there would be beneficial to both parties. Africa is now a basket case filled with lots of opportunities, all up for grabs. View Africa's condition as a chance for good trade not just a need for aid. Same thing goes either of the two, they both create development.

Lousy Investment Ideas

Strategy Consulting is very important for a business. In tough times, it is something, someone you can turn to. The adept of it is very important, so you need to work for it in the best that you can. But before you go and find pleasure or savior in your strategy consulting, you should make your business first a good and recognized enterprise. This is by coming up with the best business ideas. If you picked a lousy investment idea, you won't be able to use the strategy that you worked hard for, because you already failed even when you're just about to start.

To have a good shot in business success, stay away from investment ideas that will not be a sure hit. Sometimes, due to lack of research, we seldom arrive to a business idea that does not sell. We blame our way of managing, but let us just accept, in this fast-paced modern world, there are ideas that people would not buy, whatever their reason is, we must let go of it. If you find it hard to think of an appropriate investment idea, at least find a way to stay out of the cheap ones. Do that by getting to know some of them.

An investment idea that sucks is when you cling to those that are too good to be true. You should not haste success. Avoid offers by some random people saying they will offer you an investment that can give you instant gain, in an instant and in a less money. The truth behind all these is that they are just luring you with the ever-attractive profits. What you will arrive at is unpreparedness of the risks that threatens your business since your success followed no system. You may have a touch of success, but it is too short, you may even say it is not success at all.

Another lousy investment idea is when you stick to the traditional ones. Remember that people are always looking for something new, something better. You may still have a lineup of followers, but they are too small, they won't even get your investments back. It is like you're just doing a charity work. Always go for something innovative. Do things by always considering the choice of the majority.

If your investment idea is all about personal gain, I mean ideas that solely come out of your brain, your aspirations or dreams, don't ever expect that it will be a very big hit. You should consider several factors like the market, competitor and the resources. This will help you come up with what kind of business you can start. At the very least, you'll know how the competition goes.

And another, if your enterprise is against or numb of the current situation of the Mother Nature, dump it, I mean now. More and more people are getting involved with the preservation of the environment. It seems that green business is now clicked to human. Multinational companies and many businessmen are always blinded by the international media exposure of the continent. Most of this news conveys negative images like bloody civil wars and crippling poverty. They are deceitful. Investment ideas are turned down because of the fear brought by many conflicts. But if we are going to talk about business, the future in Africa is clear. Studies show that Africa has been heading to development in the recent years despite the Global Financial Crisis. Opportunities on different aspects are enormous. From communication, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, etc..

“Africa's profitability is one of the best kept secret in today's world economy.” This is aline quoted by Kofi Annan, UN Secretary General. Companies in Africa have been gaining on their profit since 1990. The rate of return on foreign direct investment averaged 29 percent. More African countries tightened their policy environment. This step brought more foreign investors because of the improvement on economic stability and growth and much more liberal conditions. In 1997, 26 countries showed an appraising relatively liberal regime for the repatriation of dividends and capital. This report also indicates that policies on foreign investment are now similar to those of the developing countries. Numerous investment promotion agencies were set up on the whole continent to promote Africa's resources as an opportunity to for businesses.

From the UNCTAD or United Nation Conference on Trade and Development, a study was released stating that between 1983 to 1997, Africa-based US companies grew by 10 percent. British direct investment net income in sub-Saharan Africa, with some parts of Nigeria increased by 60 percent between 189 to 1995. Same thing happened to Japanese affiliates in 1990. Trade between Africa and China has grown an average of 30% since 1999, topping $106 billion dollar last year

In the past decade, foreign investments have been increasing significantly. Before, there were more investment on oil, mineral and diamonds, but it is now changing. Services and manufacturing is now making a name, even in top oil-exporting countries like Nigeria. Now, more than 25 sub-Saharan governments are in the process of privatizing all or most of their telecommunication sectors to attract more foreign investors.

The future of any business investment in Africa is now more probable and possible. Despite its previous worse status, the UN and the whole continent is committed for a bigger transformation. Africa's neediness for help is the gateway for more investments and later on, continent's economical development. It is inarguable that Africa is a continent of commodities-with its forests, oil fields and mines. The demand is found and abundant on the darker part of the world.

Africa as a Potential Business Venue

Africa is now on on the middle of transforming from a continent that defines the word uncivilized to a perfect business haven for investors. Together with the UN Development Program, more and more business owner are investing in Africa. This is not just to create money but also as an opportunity to help the place.

Even before recession sink its teeth to the world, most countries in Africa have been failing miserably to become a renowned business location. Particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, the kind of living was really scanty. A meal a day is almost like a ticket trying to win a lottery. Most infrastructures don't appeal as a good office or commercial space. But now, businesses will work as one to make Africa a bliss for investments. Through a well studied strategic planning and expert investment ideas, improvement is just there in a shouting distance, not on on the nothingness of the deserts.

First thing that business investors prioritized is the communication sector. Focusing on the development of communication, as experts said will increase people's interest, local or foreign in starting a business. Studies also showed that developing countries has an increasing rate of mobile users, showing an indirect relation between business and communication. Thus, this will assure them of a capable business because of a wide range of promotion brought by effective communication. As matter of fact, Nokia and Grameen Foundation combined to provide the rural areas of Africa with affordable communication services. This leap is called Village Phone Concept whereas they used microfinance as an innovative tool to create entrepreneurship. When introduce in Rwanda, Village Phone aims to create more than 3,000 small businesses within 3 years. While in Uganda, five thousand new businesses have been created since it was introduced in 2003.

This is just a proof that Africa is really firm to attain development, with the guidance of the very willing better countries. Efforts to make unification come to reality has happened in Africa, and still making a scene.

Business service providers also see Africa as a perfect business location because of its wealthy nature. Most African organizations are undergoing organizational transformation to count Africa as a home of business opportunity without risking their business status. Local government is also taking part in business development that can make the task of transformation easier.

Businesses undergo management consultancy services provided by sites who expert themselves about Sub-Saharan Africa or the Whole continent itself. Since the development has just started, they hire business services provider to keep their business standing despite the coming of a lot of threats.

A good business is not measured by its wealth and properties, neither by its be-witching profit. A good business also takes part and plays a significant role in the development of life quality.
